Throw Blankets are a nice & easy way to add warmth to your home.
The original paintings used for the throws were created by Robert May & Robert Christie.
Robert Christie was born & grew up in New York City. When in high school, he considered to study veterinary medicine, because of his love for animals, but the pull of art made him decide to study fine arts at Ohio Wesleyan University. After a year and a half he returned to New York. There he studied illustration at and graduated from Pratt Institute. This was followed by postgraduate study of portrait painting at Pratt and at The Art Students League in New York. Later, Robert Christie moved with his family to Atlanta, Georgia, the hometown of his wife. His main focus was portrait painting and gradually included equestrian portraits. A few years later a publisher in NY did ask him to do a series of hunting dog paintings for his print market. From that time on he has been painting dogs, spending more than twenty years training, field trailing, hunt testing, and showing his German Shorthairs. More about this artist: Robert Christie.
