It's Game time!
Spending time with the family is important, we all know children need some special time with their parents. Most children will like to stay up a few hours longer, probably during the weekend, to spend with you. There are games suitable for young and old and playing games together will learn your child social skills, like listen to each other, wait your turn and how to deal with winning or losing. Some children cannot stand their loss, they get angry or start to cry. You can help your child with this by telling him you understand his feelings: "I understand that you feel disappointed because you wanted to win." Play games with your child frequently, play with enthusiasm and set a good example when you lose, say, "Too bad, but I thought it was fun!"
How about No TV tonight but 'It's game time'? Have Fun!
